The 33-year-old model announced the news on Instagram with a short video.
She said: “Hey guys just want to let everyone know that I am taking the rest of the year off of social media.”
While some fans begged for her to stay, some were happy to see the back of her.
“Never return please – and take Cinderella (Blac Chyna) with you please,” wrote one user.
One user commented: “Nobody gives a f***. Someone way hotter will take your place.”
The mum-of-one hasn’t confirmed why she’s taking a social media hiatus but she did say her assistant Jo will be stepping in to fill her shoes, sharing snaps of “cool stuff” for her while she’s having her break.
Amber Rose and Blac Chyna are literally the bestest friends around.
Amber continued: “So I have Jo my assistant post some cool stuff for me.
“I'll see you in the New Year.”
